The ultimate in comfort. The gown is in the traditional Cambridge style and made in a lightweight wool fabric which is highly resistant to crushing and has a nice 'swirl' about it. The back yoke and tops of the sleeves are hand-pleated, the pleats are looser and gently rounded which makes the gown more comfortable to wear and gives it a softer feel. There are tapes hanging down the inside to help secure the gown and hold it in place. It hangs to mid-calf length.
