The gown is in the traditional Cambridge style and made in a 65/35% high quality polyester/viscose fabric which needs little maintenence. The back yoke and tops of the sleeves are hand-pleated, the pleats are looser and gently rounded which gives the gown a softer feel and more comfortable to wear. There are tapes hanging down the inside to help secure the gown and hold it in place. It hangs to mid-calf length.
